This is a question that we are not asked enough, probably through fear of looking silly but let’s be honest you’ll look even more silly if you’re not using your pendulum correctly!
There are various reason for needing and using an pendulum & they can be a fab spiritual aid if used in the right way. Using a pendulum is a simple and effective way to tap into your intuition, connect with your subconscious mind or receive spiritual guidance. You can use a pendulum to answer questions, help make decisions or check for energy blockages in chakras.

Please make sure your pendulum is cleansed before you use it for the first time & in-
between each use, this will ensure any stagnant energies are removed and you will get definitive answers. To get ready for using your pendulum take a few breaths to centre yourself and clear your mind ready for the process, its important you don’t get distracted as this can affect the outcome of the answers you receive.
Now it is time to use your pendulum.
Hold the pendulum in your dominant hand & relax – allowing it to connect with your energy.
Hold the chain between your thumb and forefingers and allow it to hang freely but steady.
Ask these simple questions to determine the movements, “show me yes”, “show me no”, “show me unsure” and observe the direction of movements for example back & forth, side to side, in circles, no movement etc
Once you are ready, have your questions set out clearly in your mind to ensure accuracy, keep them simple with yes and no answers – for example, “will this crystal work well for me?”
Hold steady and observe the answer, allowing the pendulum to move naturally.
Always stay neutral when asking questions, you need to release attachment to a specific outcome and not influence the answer. Trust your pendulum’s responses. They often align with your intuition and subconscious knowledge. Using a crystal pendulum is a deeply personal and spiritual practice.
